Commissioned by Toronto Community Housing, this project aims to beautify the community hub at Empringham Drive in Malvern East and engage local youth in a creative endeavor. Residents provided feedback on themes and selected the final design, while local youth helped draw and paint.

The theme, "Breaking Out," symbolizes overcoming obstacles and challenges to reveal a better world and life. The blue jay represents our city's identity and connection to nature.
