"Let Your Imagination Fly" is a fun and energizing mural for the children and youth of Mornelle Court, painted on the outdoor stairs on their way to school.
The Susan Street Mural is a powerful statement to the children of this Scarborough community that the world is in their hands, while paying homage to the mothers and caregivers that allow them to grow. This 14 story mural was painted on the east side of 3847 Lawrence Ave.
Through resiliency and strength we pull away the challenges that we face and unveil a new world of infinite possibilities of inner and outer space. Our fire burns bright and will shine on.

Growing up can be confusing, fun, and adventurous. We wanted to create a mural that would reflect that idea, where children can see themselves and interact in an imaginative way. Highly stylized characters, and abstract elements helped us achieve that feel.
My work is rooted in the belief that creativity and self-expression can have a lasting impact on the development and growth of all people and their communities. My work has taught me that art has the power to connect people to each other, their environment, and themselves in a meaningful way. I hope to bring art to communities that are not provided equal access and opportunity.
