This project was commissioned by Toronto Community Housing to help beautiful the community hub at Emringham Dr. in Malvern East and engage local youth residents in a creative project. Residents helped provide feedback on several theme concepts and selected a final design.

The theme of this design is “Breaking Out”; the idea that as individuals, a community and a city we can overcome the obstacles and challenges that we face to reveal a better world and life. The blue jay represents one of our identities as a city and our connection to nature.
