Inspired by the creativity of youth from the Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough and the Kingston-Galloway-Orton Park community, this mural celebrates the vibrant and dynamic people of the area. Through visual folding and creasing of forms, it highlights key urban landmarks.

The mural showcases the neighborhood's residential, commercial, and civic centers. Renderings by local artist James Okore address social concerns, depicting scenes of community interaction, laughter, and support, emphasizing family and unity.

Geometric triangles and rhombuses create rhythmic movement, expressing the community's shifting identity. Youth involvement drives this change, offering a platform for their insights. This project fosters a positive understanding of belonging, celebrating the community's spirit.
